MELISSAMATIAS

I’m Melissa Matias — Lead Product Designer and Founder of Lupuna Studio. I design scalable, human-centered product experiences that turn complex data into insights & visualizations people understand, trust, and act on.

About

I'm drawn to the parts of products most people never see — the analytics layer, the dashboards, the AI onboarding, the platform systems teams live in all day. I work where dense, technical domains meet design, turning complexity into clear, decision-ready experiences.

With a Fine Arts background from Lima and a Master's in Data Visualization from Barcelona, I've spent the last decade shaping analytics, AI, and platform products at Contentsquare, Zurich Insurance Group, Boehringer Ingelheim and Netquest.

Outside of product work, you’ll usually find me painting, writing reflections on Medium, or gardening — slower practices that help me stay connected to the human side of art & design.
